Yes. Visits and consultations can go on the schedule before there’s an estimate or invoice. Each visit can include a customer, address, time, and private notes. Scheduling alone does not notify or charge the customer.

Change orders give customers a chance to review and sign off on scope and price changes before the invoice changes. Payments already received stay credited. Extra work on a fully paid job gets a separate invoice.

Your trial includes 4 sent billing items within 14 days. An estimate and its converted invoice use one slot together. Once all 4 slots are used, subscribe to send new items. You can still send the invoice converted from an estimate that already used a slot. Customers can still pay existing invoices until the 14-day trial ends. After that, payment options are paused until you subscribe.

No. THORN is for small businesses and independent professionals who quote work, collect payments, and look after customers. That includes service businesses, creative studios, consultants, custom-order businesses, and trades. The branding, pricing details, and terms can fit the way your business works.

No. Invoices can be sent before Stripe is connected. Stripe is needed for card payments; Venmo, Cash App, and PayPal details can be provided for payments through those services.

Setup covers the basics of your business and branding. THORN works in your phone’s browser and can be added to the home screen. Saved customers, materials, and templates cut down on repeated typing.

Yes. Your logo, colors, and contact details appear on your documents. Optional accents and textures offer a little more personality, with a live preview of the result.

Yes. Customers can sign online, ask for changes, or decline with feedback. A required deposit becomes payable after acceptance. An estimate without a deposit can be converted to an invoice when you’re ready to bill.

Yes, with a paid subscription. Recurring schedules prepare invoices for repeat work. You decide when to send each one or charge an authorized saved card. A scheduled date never charges a customer automatically.

Yes. Invoice links can be shared by email, text, or your device’s sharing options. Documents also support printing and saving as a PDF through the device’s print menu.

Customers pay through the service you provide, such as Venmo or PayPal. You record that payment in THORN to update the balance. Stripe card payments update automatically.

Canceling stops renewal. Payment access continues through your paid subscription period. When that period ends, old invoices remain available to view, but unpaid invoices—including remaining balances after deposits—cannot be paid through THORN. Alternative payment options are also hidden until you resubscribe.
